{"id":821,"date":"2020-12-22T13:23:19","date_gmt":"2020-12-22T09:23:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/casio.ge\/acag\/reitingebi\/reitingebis-shesakheb\/"},"modified":"2021-01-16T18:03:49","modified_gmt":"2021-01-16T14:03:49","slug":"reitingebis-shesakheb","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/acag.ge\/en\/reitingebi\/reitingebis-shesakheb\/","title":{"rendered":"Methodology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ratings are held according to rules made by Association of Communication Agencies of Georgia, these rules are based on international standard and experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Both members of Association of Communication Agencies of Georgia and agencies registered in Georgia are able to participate in ratings. members of the association get participation discounts during the festivals and they also contribute each year in determining and affirming factors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Agencies can be classified by these specializations, according to their main competencies:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s3\">D<\/span><span class=\"s4\">esign studio<\/span><span class=\"s3\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Advertising agency<\/span><span class=\"s3\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">at the end of the year revealed will be<\/span><span class=\"s5\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Georgian creative advertising agency of the year<\/span><span class=\"s3\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Georgian branding\/design studio of the year.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">In case of ACAG, agency can participate in both ratings. rating points gained at the festival chosen by ACAG is added to \u201cadvertising agency\u201d. As for \u201cbranding &amp; design studio\u201d, they accept points only from this category (for example, if the agency is participating only in branding rating and gains point at the festival with their video, it will not be credited.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Each agency that participates in communication agency rating conferment, must determine their competency and choose wat type of agency they belong to.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Creativity &amp; Craft rating is determined on basic of points that agencies gain from receiving awards at advertising festivals and contests during the festival season. Rating period lasts from september to september each year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Festivals that are included in Creativity &amp; Craft ratings must meet these principles:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Prestigiousness of<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>winning and awards, recognition in advertising public;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Opportunity to win and gain points;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Transparency of the rating rules.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Number of festivals in rating must be high enough so that most of the agencies have opportunity to gain award points, stimulate their differentiation, which, in turn, will increase \u201cobservation matrix\u201d correctness. On the other hand, as the number of marketing festivals and contests in the world is already high and is rising still, Association of Communication Agencies establishes the limit of 20 festivals. Thus, after reaching the limit (20 festivals), including any new festival in the rating means excluding another from it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In Creativity &amp; Craft rating points will be divided between the agencies that were working together and presented their works together at festival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Complete list of festivals and contests is made for Creativity &amp; Craft rating, independently of contest and agency specialization. All of the values (points for award, festival and contest factors) also are unified, but points are counted and ratings formed by classification shown above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Creativity &amp; Craft<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>rating points<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>(<\/span><span class=\"s6\">base values<\/span><span class=\"s1\">):<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\"><span class=\"s7\">Finalist<\/span><span class=\"s4\">\u00a0(Short-list ) = 1 points;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Bronze<\/span><span class=\"s3\">\u00a0= 3\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">points<\/span><span class=\"s3\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Silver<\/span><span class=\"s3\">\u00a0= 7\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">points<\/span><span class=\"s3\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Gold<\/span><span class=\"s3\">\u00a0= 15\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">points<\/span><span class=\"s3\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Best work of the contest\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s3\">(contest\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">Grand prix<\/span><span class=\"s3\">) = 30\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">points<\/span><span class=\"s3\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Festival\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">Grand prix\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s3\">= 35 points.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Even if an agency gets special awards, rating is calculated only by awards listed above. special awards will not be reflected in rating.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">If works of one advertising series (campaign) get multiple awards in one contest (category), all the results, gained at the festival by that company is considered valid in rating outcome.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Advertising festivals may have different factors for their contests. given the presence of specialized Jury, prestigiousness of awards and \u201cadequacy\u201d from history of the festival.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s4\">Considering that during the season certain festivals may change their terms, increase the number of nominations, alter jury forming principles, Association of Communication Agencies of Georgia retains the right to revise factors, according to implemented changes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ratings are held according to rules made by Association of Communication Agencies of Georgia, these rules are based on international standard and experiences.
